Empal



Kalo weekend tuh aku suka males masak hehehe....... untung di toko2 indo banyak orang yg pada titip2in makanan ditoko, sampe tokonya penuh ama makan2an yg udah jadi, makanan apa aja ada disitu.

Ok kembali ke topic hueueueh............. Jadi kalo weedend aku suka beli nasi kuning yg ada empalnya.......... sangking demennya ama empal sampe aku coba tanya ama mamaku resepnya apa aja, soalnya mamaku ini pernah bikin empal empuk gak keras kayak orang2 bikin cciieee promosi lagi nih hehehe.
Jadi ya gitu deh , aku coba bikin sendiri, makannya pake sambel 'n lalapan :)




Bahan:
  • 1/2 kg daging sapi
  • 2 sdt ketumbar (dihaluskan)
  • 2 siung kemiri (sangrai, dihaluskan)
  • 3 siung bawang putih (cincang halus)
  • 1 sdt asem (ambil airnya)
  • gula,garam secukupnya
  • Air untuk rebusan
  • Minyak untuk menggoreng
Cara:
  1. Rebus daging sapi sampai setengah matang.
  2. Masukkan semua bumbu jadi satu kedalam rebusan daging, rebus sampai daging empuk.
  3. Dinginkan, masukkan dalam kulkas semalaman, biar lebih enak lagi.
  4. Goreng daging sapi dengan minyak, lalu tiriskan.

Cranberry cheese cake

Aku lagi kepingin bikin kue nih, jadi dari minggu kemaren tuh ngebrowsing sapa tau ada kue yang gampang dibikin hehehe (gak mau susah nih :p)
Cari punya cari ...... akhirnya ketemu juga , jadi aku shopping buat bahan2nya. Bahan2nya juga gak perlu banyak untuk buat kue ini.

Ingredients (serves 10)

  • 185g unsalted butter, softened
  • 150g cream cheese, softened
  • 2 teaspoons finely-grated lemon rind
  • 1 1/4 cups caster sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup self-raising flour
  • 2/3 cup plain flour
  • 1 cup frozen cranberries
  • icing sugar mixture, to serve

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease a 22cm fluted ring pan. Using an electric mixer, beat butter, cream cheese and lemon rind in a medium bowl until combined. Add sugar. Beat for 5 minutes or until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition until combined. Stir in flours. Fold through the cranberries.
  2. Spoon mixture into prepared pan. Smooth top with a spatula. Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until a skewer inserted in the centre comes out clean. Remove from oven. Stand cake in pan for 10 minutes. Turn out onto a wire rack to cool.
  3. Dust cake with icing sugar. Serve.

Tart Susu

Aku pulang Indo pas lagi Sin Cia-an. Jadi banyak yang pada sibuk bikin kue2 gitu, salah satunya ya temenku ini, pas lagi ke rumahnya dia lagi sibuk banget bikin kue2.
Waktu itu dia lagi bikin tart susu, pas banget emang aku demen banget ama tart susu apa lagi kalo tart susunya dingin.......yuuummmmmm :)

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups (225g) plain flour
  • 2 tbs icing sugar mixture
  • 125g butter, chilled
  • 2-3 tbs water
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1/4 cup (60g) caster sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups (310ml) milk, warmed
  • Ground nutmeg, to sprinkle

Method

  1. Process 1 1/2 cups (225g) plain flour, 2 tbs icing sugar mixture and 125g butter, chilled and cubed in a food processor until fine crumbs form. Add 2-3 tbs water and process until soft dough forms. Roll into a ball, divide into 6 portions.
  2. Roll out each portion to 3-4mm thick, to line six 3cm deep, 8cm (base measurement) round fluted tart tins with removable bases. Put on a baking tray and refrigerate for 15 minutes. Preheat oven to 200°C. Line the pastry cases with baking paper and fill with rice. Bake for 15 minutes. Remove paper and rice. Bake for 15 minutes.

3. Reduce oven temperature to 180°C. Combine 3 eggs, 2 tsp vanilla essence, 1/4 cup (60g) caster sugar and 1 1/4 cups (310ml) milk, warmed. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until just set.
